The Domain Name Nightmare

You may have noticed the hiatus to this site, and its subsequent re-appearance under a different name. This is due to a massive screwup on my part -- I had forgotten to update the email address in the internet service provider where the name was registered (it was registered for 6 years), so when they sent me a reminder to renew, of course I didn't get it. And if you allow your domain name to lapse, it's immediately bought up by some outfit in Taiwan, who grab it for the express purpose of charging you an outlandish fee to get it back. Meanwhile they point it at a list of porn links, in an attempt to embarass you into coughing up the cash.

Well, I'm not playing that game, so here, after far too long a delay, is my site once again, but under a different name. Sorry for the hassle.

By the way -- I've got the new domain until 2012, and I will be keeping the contact email address up to date!
